Care & Advocacy
When people come into St. Vincent de Paul Place looking for a hot meal, they are often surprised to learn about the many other services we have to offer including case management, hygiene, clothing, pet food, and array of other services. Whether a person is struggling with unemployment, underemployment, homelessness, medical or mental health issues, substance abuse or hunger they are treated with dignity and respect. SVdPP becomes a safe haven where they can address their most pressing needs and work with caring individuals who will help them to overcome their personal obstacles. The Care and Advocacy program at SVdPP offers hope and support to individuals who often feel forgotten and unloved. It is a place where they can begin to feel safe and motivated to make change. Feeling cared about and supported promotes growth and change.
