Fall 2021

Since 1979, St. Vincent de Paul Place has served our community’s most vulnerable individuals in their time of need. The past 18 months, however, have been some of the most challenging.  The impact of COVID-19 on the economy and access to basic needs, like food and housing, has greatly shaken the ability for many of our neighbors to find security.

As with most people, we hoped that the pandemic would be over by now and we would be back to pre-COVID conditions, but sadly that is not the case. Demand for charitable assistance is expected to remain at elevated levels, as are food and supply costs.

Thousands of men, women and children benefit from the Food Pantry, Community Meal, and Care and Advocacy programs at St. Vincent de Paul Place. We are a safe haven for those facing difficult times and a trusted partner in the community.  Our dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that anyone needing access to healthy food, supplies and other care services are met with dignity, kindness and compassion.

Now more than ever, we need your help to continue these programs for our neighbors.  Your donations are applied directly to the programs here at St. Vincent de Paul Place and will help to stock the shelves of our food pantry, serve a hot breakfast and lunch 6 days a week, and provide access to a case manager to aid with homelessness and crisis intervention.  From a warm shower to children’s coats and schools supplies to pet food and a bus ticket to get to work, St. Vincent de Paul Place is here and we can’t do it without you.

On behalf of all of the peopled served by St. Vincent de Paul Place, thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Jill Corbin

Executive Director
